Why do I fill your cup?
Why lighten your spirits up?

It is my quest for poetic excellence
It is my treasure to you of benevolence

Poetry has, over the past few years, rescued me from a turbulent time in my personal life. The cognizance acquired has enabled me to enrich my life and thought with pure dedication and tempest; my mind triumphs each new day, as my soul touches my essence … my inner most being … to visualize and epitomize the true meaning of surrender of self.

Life and living is no longer a labyrinth and arduous task. It is a revelation … a vestibule … a mystical endowment … with an ardent passion, contemplating an honest quest for that which propagates a burning desire to manifest emancipation and latitude to its peak.

This, dear friends, is what I would like to do for each of you, i.e., share with you my personal journey of the true effect of poetry on the human emotion and the mobility of why I write about poetry.

Poetry is Healing! It can distill a lucrative tenacity of existential healing to the soul. Moreover, poetry places the reader in the psyche of the poet … a rudimentary cohort which accentuates an abundance of restorative revival. This presupposes that the reader is open to healing poetry and completely submissive in the effort.

The human condition is virally seeking for that breakthrough in the quest to absorb the scintillating charismatic message inherent in a written verse. Within such message, there is a dormant hunger to nourish the soul, while thwarting to restore harmony, with an ardent motivational insight on the human emotion.

Poetry nestles the framework of Introspection in the endeavor for far reaching benefit to the human emotion. An introspective mind repudiates the gamut of “noise” that is prevalent around its periphery. In the same light, such a mind desires the relenting paradox that is persuasive and piquant. In poetry, the mind and soul can mitigate their disposition, allowing deep penetration, to intuitively instill a thought process whereby such desire can infer a reality and position a repertoire disbursing momentum that serves to broaden and validate introspection.

If poetry can fill the acute hunger for unobtrusive peace and calm, then a true relationship between poem and reader can germinate, reverberating holistic wisdom and lubricating a tender wounded soul with soft embalming treasures. In doing so, one may release a disorderly state of mind to siphon out disharmony, while activating accord and a euphonious spirit.

If poetry and harmony are an epiphany to a distressed mind, then embracing the lucrative wealth of introspection, along with a superlative magnetism of the poet, is just the indicative astuteness rampant in a therapeutic restoration congruent to the soul.

Poetry is Passion in a dispassionate environment, which seeks to bestow its blessings to an audience of paramount disposition. Passion encompasses to seek a velocity of ardor, as it mitigates to enamor and instill its resounding turbulence at the very root of humane surrender. Such acquiescence empowers the heart, in its susceptible form, to engender a tempest of perpetuating presence, as it overflows in all realms of existential survival and mirrors our embodiment when we encounter its anatomy in poetry.

Passion in poetry allows the human condition to uncover a meticulous array of ardent predominance, a milieu empowering and magnetic, and a riveting temperament, as one is drawn into an enthralling dimension of resounding masquerade. Passion feathers the deepest core of our true essence. In its foremost state, it hinges deeply rooted in the mind of the poet. A poetic mind may petition the viral synapse to articulate the funneling of passion in their lives and induce a pinnacle response as their elixir to sanity and their innocuous means of survival … journeying their lives of poetic submission … transcending minute interplay with crystallized trepidation.

Poetry and Spirituality can unleash ultimate freedom of the soul and in such velocity, instill a conduit of succulent emotions, along with a fusion with one’s essence. Spirituality repudiates a core functionality of our synthesis to persevere the mandate that we are human beings with a soul. It has been the tradition of poets, of all genres, to deliver an underlying spiritual repertoire in what they write. Poetry has, and always will, venture to possess a distinct paradigm where spirituality is a quest, enamored with great esteem, contributing to unfold a doctrine of unkempt stimulation, vested with a purity of devotional celebration.

If poetry is a skill, then that skill is supreme in our quest as human beings to obliterate the myths of spiritual devotion and belabor a deep veneration of what we believe in and what transcends our vested inheritance. To fathom and appreciate the inherent spirituality in poetry, it is imperative to capture and preserve the minute significant ordeals that evolve and oscillate our essence each day. Empirically, we can grasp an overflowing abundance in our lives, mitigate the abyss overly dominant, and visualize a silhouette of receptive creed, effervescent and superlative, which may validate our mere quest for purpose.

Poetry conserves a voracious appetite for those who love it and are open to its mystical message. It is the nebulous appendage for one who strives to invigorate their existence as they streamline a bounty of astute, vivacious and heartening relationships that are interminable.

Seek to constantly savor what I have to offer you in my crusade of the value and dignity innate in poetry. Only you and I can, together, make the sun rise each morning. If not, it may drench itself out in sorrow. Enjoy the ride!
