Delude me not … I beseech
I live in my heart … an allusion to not break
My existence not in vain … rather to reach
Renew my fragile heart … its mirth to awake
Laura Simoes
Poetry and spirituality manifest a robust proliferation in a fast-paced society, under nourished with food for the soul, hackneyed with an overwhelming overload of information and exploring that ultimate surrender which can tranquilize a troubled mind. Spiritual poetry undertakes to unleash paramount freedom of the soul, infusing emotions of love, remorse, empathy and an insouciant alliance with one’s essence.
Spiritual poetry insulates the mind from malignant undue impediments, escalating to alleviate and soften a hardened heart. This poetic framework is akin to soft bursts of petals from a rose, and the sweet fragrance of jasmine at night … permeating the senses and releasing one’s spirit to soar. To fathom and appreciate spiritual poetry, it is imperative to open our senses and preserve the minute ordeals that touch our hearts each day. This facilitates an awareness that funnels a spectrum of superlative closeness with our essence, while capitulating to the abyss that is overly dominant in our lives.
Poetry emulates a vivacious form of artistic flavor when mingled into spirituality. Poets, who adapt to such flavor, bestow a healing pattern in their poems, with a profound observation and an ardent, pragmatic sustenance. Spirituality fortifies a weakened soul and is continually a remarkable mystical component of a poem. The written poem visualizes mirth of vehemence, while essaying to streamline the poetic message inherent.
Discerning the poetic theme, and applying it to daily living, is undeniably rudimentary if a rewarding life is desirable. Our ultra modern society, with technical advances beyond our comprehension, accentuates a desire to open our minds to spiritual poetry. In doing so, we can journey to a bountiful place where time stands still and serenity overflows … into infinity.
Nurturing spirituality authenticates a life of treasures and self knowledge. Such riches are paramount if life is well loved and cherished. They harbor a magical emollient in a tradition that fertilizes the dawn of a new day. Spirituality dictates a true manifestation of sentimental treasures. And in doing so, it belabors a vestibule of wisdom, which can metastasize within the mind and body, and supersede a disposition plagued with condescending morale. Spirituality is the silent vehicle that drives the mind and body … it is the sublime nourishment that awakens to feed a distressed soul … it is the ultimate seed which germinates within the body, mobilizing to cultivate a pure seedling, while strengthening and taking root within the interior self.
Kahlil Gibran exposes self knowledge righteously in the following quote:-
But let there be no scales to weigh your unknown treasure;
And seek not the depths of your knowledge with staff or sounding line.
For self is a sea boundless and measureless.
- Kahlil Gibran, The Prophet
Poetic spirituality contends a precious momentum, a priceless gamut of jewels, bestowing a paragon which signifies the freedom to detach from darkness into light – the light that ignites passion and unfolds a deep entrenchment of existence. There exists an underlying vault in appreciating life’s dark mysteries. Spiritual poetry can fill the void as we siphon out that which inhibits us from breaking free.
Embracing spiritual poetry proliferates a true bonding between mind and soul. The opulence of spirituality is evident in the manner by which we bestow our wealth in our relationships. Our relationships tend to suffer when we obstruct the treasure of self knowledge and self acceptance and instead comprehend a dogmatic approach.
Poetry and spirituality are the keys to abundance and success. They signify a measure of how we expend our basic humane existence, while detaching from a world of pleasure and self-righteousness. Our destiny bridges on the road to true happiness that we implant and encompass, and the benevolence we share with others.
Let poetry guide you in your quest for excellence and sanctity.
