In the gamut and struggle of life
Seek to harmonize your mind
In the aftermath of daily strife
Seek to harmonize your soul
For your mind is but the presence …
And your soul is but the essence …
Laura Simoes
The ultimate effervescent espial of harmony in one’s existence is the emblematic manifestation of a vested finesse, resplendent in the soul, surrendering to a melody of intense visceral ebullience. The resultant mechanism exacerbates to vanquish any weakness and resentment, while reinforcing a myriad of profound, openhearted dialog between mind and soul. If an individual is empowered to seek harmony, then disharmony will fester out, leaving the soul embalmed and resurgent.
The inherent presence of harmony in an individual, presupposes that such individual is living an opportune life, smothered with adequate nutrition to the soul. The tenacity vested in seeks to overcome an irresolute condition, while striving to hold disharmony in abeyance. Concurrent association with one’s interior life is conducive to visualizing the imminence of conformity and accord.
Stemming from a plausible conjecture, if harmony in excess will, albeit, notionally over-saturate the soul, its presence is functionally necessary to nourish the mind and body too.
So, what then, is harmony? Well, here is what I maintain, in a poetic sense:-
It glows in the dark like a light
It stands aloof in the night
My mind is adrift …
I’m up on a cliff …
I search for a taste of sanity.
I’m bemused as I frolic around
I reach out to touch the ground
I’m wound up a tree …
It barks up at me …
It slithers away with vanity.
I’m on a roller-coaster ride
I stand ashore and watch the tide
It pushes me in …
I’m sinking within …
A world with no room for harmony.

The Poetic Response to Harmony
Poetry is a lucrative juncture at which the resurgence of harmony facilitates a benchmark whereby mind interfaces with soul. Harmony must thrive in both mind and soul, if one desires to indulge in its bountiful illustration and latitude, and encounter a taste of its wholesome presence.
Naturally, the fusion of inundating mind and soul with harmony belabors the spirited practice of absorbing poetry to its realistic extent; if not, the cardinal opposing effect may further a stymied response. Entraining the mind to permeate poetry is a function that strives to extemporize and mesmerize an array of gratification that may augment to illuminate a starving soul. The symbolic advocacy of this exercise can diminish the desire to seek harmony amongst one’s relationships. Harmony is not an altruistic endowment that is solicited amongst one’s alliance.
Through poetry, the mind may funnel harmony in the prolific vastness imbedded in nature. Nature rescues a wandering soul through the immaculate presence of its seasons … pink blossoms in springtime … the sweet smell of rain … hypnotic colors of autumn … soft whiteness of winter. Harmony reigns amidst the greenery of a forest, the gentle sea breeze, a vermillion sunset or the innocent smile of a baby!
Seek Harmony
Seek harmony through the pristine affiliation of simple poetry! A humble poetic verse can wring out tears to heartfelt harmony, comforting a feeble soul, simultaneously annihilating sorrow to mellow the mind. The rhythm of poetry works to mirror parallel affinity in the soul, ensuring resilience, as it resonates to endure a submissive petition.
My ardent desire is that you seek and discern a wealth of harmony, through poetry, in your precious lives! Once ascertained, ensure it is preserved and allowed to bloom in the mind and soul.
The ultimate struggle is to seek a behemoth of harmony that unifies the mind and soul and awakens the essence to the exorbitant, captivating beauty inherent in all relationships.
