In times of solitude

Allow your creativity to sparkle

Let your writing be a song

You are a resurrection

A poetic mind is a sensational au courant nestling of creativity … fabricated with a yearning desire of detachment from its surroundings. Such objectivity holds the key to why poets, in general, are capable of experiencing creativity as they feel it, without affecting their thought processes in any given situation. Creativity and its related components is a meticulous array, a milestone, when, in abundance, serves its charismatic purpose.

The alluring and seductive repertoire exclusive to creating poetry is efficacious to all writers and poets alike. How one embraces such astute and intrinsic innovation is the dire turning point. Sometimes, the minuscule and opportune creative structure can be overthrown with over-burdened optimism. Left off guard, poetry then tends to suffocate in its own destiny.

Sentiment and emotions tend to dominate the writing state.  Poetry can mitigate its structure and search new configurations. In such a situation, one must tentatively modulate the presence of creative thoughts and insights and their effect, to dramatize the efficacy of the poem. The symbolic presence of this effect will enhance the mood and structural display of the poem. Poetry then takes remarkable form with mesmerizing and enchanting precision.

The poet has allowed the best to envision a grandiose and triumphant work of art! To conceive such art, to write what is brewing in the mind, requires enormous practice. Allowing thought-provoking turnaround, it is imperative to juggle sentences, phrases and words in a unique gestation so that your writing has the cushioned substance of unmitigated creativity.

Creativity is untouchable and invisible. It is creation at its best in every sphere. In poetry, it is the capturing of a picture, a scene or a painting, an emotion, and the imaginative interpretation of this from the mind onto paper. It is the transformation of this picture from the mind to a pen. Creativity has no bounds or limits … it can run wild, it can soften a lonely heart and it can put a smile to someone’s face. The ability of the poet to write poetry in its true creative form is an imaginative task … a joyous celebration … a burst of energetic waves of thinking … resulting in explorative ritual.

So, go find that emotional outlet … seek out that therapeutic value you hold … and in the process use your creativity to freedom and fullness. For it is in creative writing that you will touch your soul and give the reader something to mystify. Allow the intensity of your creative self to glorify your writing – and in doing so – you will wrap yourself in true joy and gratification.

I will end with three verses from my poem : “You”, wherein creativity speaks out aloud.

I spiraled down a rocky road
You steered me to a sun that poured
            The breeze was calm …
            The earth stood still …
Oblivious to time, we took our fill.

We nestled toward a running stream
My mirrored reflection made me want to scream
Baffled, speechless, I looked perturbed …
You bathed me with a grain of sand …
You put a daisy in my hand.

            Undeterred I moved along
In the twilight mist I heard your song
            Dusk approached us …
            My world stood still …
You laid me on grounds of golden daffodil.
