And in your awakening
Harbor your passion to be a song

Poetry has been known to extemporize, with a seemingly arduous flavor, its illustrative desire to harbor passion in a human being. Through a colorful and mythical microcosm, poetry kindles a burning passion, essaying to moderate and connect the reader to the mind of a poet, with a nurturing mystical delineation.

Passion elucidates a metamorphosis as it smothers from poet to poet, deepening its roots in a reader’s mind. Passion is a lubricating flame that keeps alight and has the immensity to thrive in a milieu of wavering enormity. In its intangible form, passion submits to varying peaks and troughs … fortifying along with opportune moments of tenacity. The variance indicative of passion revolves within the framework of our human state of mind … the poet may infiltrate the mind with preeminent deliberation or the reverse … the reader may funnel similar pondering. Harboring one’s passion in a symbolic manner is the fundamental criteria of self nourishment.

The Poetic Framework of Passion

Poets are naturally ingrained with some degree of heightened passion. Passion renders the succulent, astute nutrition to a poet, garnished with morsels of creative seasoning. A poet requires optimum visualization compatibility in order to captivate the reader’s attention. Poetry envisions the alluring presence of passion pertinent in a poet’s mind to such degree as will necessitate a passionate revelation in the written poem.

A poet may outpour an overwhelming display of passion … a soul besieged with an arduous tempest … a heart overthrown in disarray … escalating to enervate the mind, while enthralling deeper into an enigma, journeying to surrender to a deleterious manuscript. Such a path may throw sentiments in perspective and restore the mind to a great degree of freedom … generously energizing a broken heart.

Passion rides exorbitantly high as an immediate response to feelings of pleasure and mirth. The heart is detached from pragmatic reasoning, finding its representation in a plethora of immeasurable euphoric elation and exuberance, while remaining undaunted.

A streamlined dedication to poetic excellence necessitates a harmonizing relationship between poet, mind and soul. Such a revelation prepares the poet alleviate the altruistic patterns of passion and secure a framework coherent and tangible.

The Poetic Response to Passion

The lucrative tenacity which harbors passion in a poet’s mind accentuates a generous molding of past experiences and imagery. Passion, in its nebulous state, rotates around a mystical creation until it is inundated to a point of saturation. At this point, it succumbs to be discharged in a mode most responsive and gratifying … through a written verse or manuscript.

Each poet has their own peculiar traverse of expelling an over saturated stream of passion. There is the burning hunger to pour out what the heart has held captive. Doing so may expend enormous energy and enthusiasm and streamline a beneficial response, while developing a nourishing blueprint for what is yet to be accomplished.

Kahlil Gibran has well versed his ideology of reason and passion. I quote:-

“Your reason and your passion are the rudder and the sails of your seafaring soul.

If either your sails or your rudder be broken, you can but toss and drift, or else be
Held at a standstill in mid-seas.

For reason, ruling alone, is a force confining; and passion, unattended, is a flame
That burns to its own destruction”.

            Kahlil Gibran, The Prophet

The dramatic derivative to passion infuses a mastery of the logical process by which the mind transforms images and expressions, allowing a cadence, which creates a modular halcyon to its submissive metaphor.

The absence of passion may obliterate a poet’s quest for truth and incinerate a worthy cause to emblazon the intensity of emotions, broadening the presence of interior wealth. Poetry auditions to permeate total surrender of self, while generating that which is gratifying, as a poet continues the mission of propelling passion into his or her vocation.

Such propagation transforms the psyche of the poet by its arduous attempt to manifest a mission which induces a gigantic wave of passion, overflowing all temporal faculties.

Seek to harbor your passion in a way which destines to strengthen your mind, and in doing so, rehabilitates your surrender to preponderance. Let your soul alight as you streamline your visualization into a captivating zeal.
